With over 50 years in the business of making chainsaws, Husqvarna has produced a line of chainsaws that caters to the home owner, the land owner, and the professional.
Take the 2.4 HP 440e-series chainsaw at high end of the home owner line. It takes a 13" - 18" bar and weighs in at under 10 pounds. Or on the low end of the home owner line, you will find the Husqvarna 235 chainsaw. At 1.8 HP and taking a 13" - 16" bar, it is ideal for pruning and light cutting. There are 5 models to choose from in the home owner series.
With 10 saws to choose from in the Husqvarna Landowner series, you won't have a lack of choices. The Husqvarna 359 sits at the top, with a 59cc, 3.9 HP engine. At 12.1 pounds, it takes a bar from 13" - 20". The raw strength and wide range of speeds makes this chainsaw a good match for the most demanding of needs. On the low end of the Landowner series, you'll find the Husqvarna 445. The 45.7cc 2.8 HP engine cranks out 9600 rpm at max power. This is a great all-around saw.
There are too many saws to mention in their Professional series. At the top, the Husqvarna 3120 XP flexes its muscles with a 118.8cc 8.4 HP engine. At 22.9 pounds, it will take up to a large 42" bar. This is ideal for the logger. The Husqvarna 228 XPT offers rapid acceleration and more torque, making it perfect for the arborist or forester.
